Anne Yeo aka madmum

Anne YeoCo-founder / Facilitator

Anne spends her days delivering action-based teambuilding programs, facilitating workshops in leadership and management skills, as a volunteer for needy children and youths as well as and balancing being mummy to 2 wonderful boys.

Her passion is people and she believes that everyone has the potential to be far more than what we are today … if this is what we desire. Anne ‘came out of retirement’ to live her dream of ‘Making A Difference’. She believes that work should be fun and life is for living (not just surviving!). She has been a volunteer for 18 years working with children with cerebral palsy and kids who are hearing impaired, underprivileged or have special needs. Her boundless energy, charm and sense of humor makes her an effective facilitator and wonderful person. She is an inspiration to many!

Anne holds a diploma in HR and International Marketing is currently pursuing her B Sc in Psychology. She is a Certified Behavioral Consultant for DISC Profiling System* (IML, USA), an NLP practitioner and a member of Teach Me Teamwork, Association of Experiential Learning and International Association of Facilitators. She is featured in the book ‘Barrier Breakers’ for her personal success against all odds! In Sept 2005, Anne was a Mentor at the Bali Entrepreneur Business School. She was the mentor for Enterprise Value – Teams, how to create and retain a high performing team. During the dot.com period of the early 80s, Anne played an instrumental part in the set up of YouCanDoMore.com – where a group of IT companies got together to ‘make a difference’ with needy children.

During her 25 years of business development and general management experience working in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, US and Europe, Anne had the opportunity to work with diversified teams in very dynamic environments. Anne held the positions of Regional Training and Operations Director, Area Director and Managing Director before becoming co-owner and General Manager of COMAT Training Services Pte Ltd in 1989. After 14 successful years, the company was sold in March 2002 to ST Training & Simulation and Anne became Snr VP of the newly set up company, KnowledgeAlive Pte Ltd – a joint venture between ST Training & Simulation and Horizon Education Ltd. Anne left the Organisation in Oct 2003 to ‘retire’, which lasted all of 8 months.

Over the past 2 years, Anne has delivered programmes to Singapore Sports Council, Federal Express, McDonald’s, Hewlett Packard, Marriott, DELL, Reuters, MSD, Singapore Poly, ITE, Ascendas, adidas, CISCO, Seraya Power, Holiday Inn, CAAS, Amara Hotel, Hewlett Packard, BASF, MAS, Getronics, Dell, Chartered Industries, Intercon Hotels, Bax Global, Citigroup, AIG, OUB, Diary Farm, Delifrance, Gates International, IDA, OCBC, Omron, Teradyne, Compair, Cold Storage, Microsoft, Republic Poly, KLA Tencor, Reuters and many others.

Her personal mission today is to work with organizations to bring out the best in their teams and also to encourage more organizations to get involved in community work.
